Edited by: Mel Howard In the beginning, there was a great big garden. A lush, diverse garden that spanned past the universe called the Outerverse. There were trees bursting with sweet-smelling fruits the size of the largest mammal on our Earth. This was Utopia, and it is here that Eve lived, yet on Earth, we have the story all wrong and have punished and abused girls and women because of those lies. I'm here to set the story straight. Eve was the fiery one. She had a sense of adventure that was simply untameable, which was something MaWé or God as the People of Earth call her, enjoyed about her creation. Eve wanted to explore everything, eat every fruit, and try every sport in the great beyond. She excelled beyond every creation and was driven for more. One day while MaWé was still spinning and creating more worlds in the Verse, her hands moving in intricate ways into the void surrounded by clouds and blooms of stars, Eve spotted a place that was not yet called Earth. "What's that beautiful blue world there, MaWé?" She replied, "It's a rare gem that will be like the Garden, but it needs work. Do you want to help me with it?" Eve was thrilled and shook with excitement. A new thing, a new world, with new foods to eat! She couldn't wait to land on this curious and boldly blue world to explore and especially to help MaWé. "When can I go?" she said, squealing. Eve, knowing no other world than the Garden, was convinced that life on Earth was going to be easy. Only when things are done right, even then maintaining that righteous living requires hard work and re-enlightenment. MaWé was determined to give her insight but knowing everything, she knew it takes living it sometimes to know it. "Now, hold on," said the Great Being. "I have to prepare you before you go, and you'll need a cadet. Do you have anyone in mind that you'd like to take with you?" "Adam," the young soul thought. She brought Adam everywhere with her because he was the only one who could keep up. He was with her at every new venture. The first time he ate the gorge fruit with her, his face lit up with his first bite as they sat on a large green and hardy tree leaf. Laughing and spewing out some of the fruit, he roared even harder after watching it splatter all over Eve's face. "Adam?" MaWe asked "Yes!" "There are many things you will learn about this new world, but remember, pay attention to what's around you and in you, and you will find the truth and there will be my guidance. " MaWé, knowing the terrible pain that Eve nor Adam hasn’t ever endured, she rattled those words with deep sincerity. Almost changing her mind yet knowing the future of her creations, to let go and let live was the greatest accomplishment that she could bestow on them. "Got it." Eve said as she moved closer to the portal. The essence of this doorway is complete with symbols and signs of lessons from those who have gone before them. Ancient with minerals twirling towards the Verse. An astounding beauty yet overwhelmingly intelligent by design. A millisecond of wisdom in comparison to centuries learned on Earth. "Now, Adam," MaWé sternly ordered. " Please remember that this world can be dangerous. I need you to protect Eve and," her eyes moved to Eve, then back to Adam, "work together to create a good colony." " I promise," they said in unison, looking at each other with determination. "Alright, and just know that if you don't care for your colony, there will be hell there, but if you take good care of them, then it can be as good as the Garden. It'll take quite a few years, but you'll be back in no time. Okay, you're ready. " Her last words were faint as they landed. They kept their connection with the all-loving and powerful one ‘til the day they passed. This world cannot hold infinite souls, so they took turns working and living on the land before returning home in the Garden. Where we’ll see Eve still trying enormous fruits with Adam, swimming in pristine rivers and streams, climbing the tallest and greenest mountains you’ll ever see. Over time, the story has changed. Terrible people in power, confused and desperate, changed Eve and Adam's beautiful story for profit and to create madness. No longer to help MaWé but to help themselves. Those in power used tactics to make those who believed them work only to benefit them. The lies keep some from seeing the truth and misguide parts of the world, while the very real and palpable factuality is Eve was not cursed to be an Earth woman, she was blessed to be chosen. She came here with her best friend, created a colony, and a good one at first. The rivers they lived next to nourished Earth’s fruits and herbs like those in MaWe`'s Garden. The spring that fed the river held stone that glowed at night, illuminating the babbling water just like in the East Garden where Eve first met Adam. Luckily, we are still here, and there is still time. Now that you know the true story, will you help MaWé?
